Discuss and analyze new information on dental caries detection, diagnosis, prevention and minimal restorative management. The course will include didactic short lectures and problem-solving exercises in which participants will discuss applications of the information presented in the lectures. Tuition: $250 for dentists; $125 for dental team

Amid Ismail, BDS, MPH, MBA, DrPH, is Dean of Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health. Ismail has been an actively funded researcher for 24 years with expertise in population-based cross-sectional and longitudinal studies. His areas of interest are caries research, population health and interventions to reduce disparities in oral and dental conditions. He is the co-founder of the International Caries Detection and Assessment System and is a member of the European Organization for Caries Research.
