Discuss and analyze new information on dental caries detection, diagnosis, prevention and minimal restorative management. The course will include didactic short lectures and problem-solving exercises in which participants will discuss applications of the information presented in the lectures. Amid Ismail, BDS, MPH, MBA, DrPH, is Dean of Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health. Ismail has been an actively funded researcher for 24 years with expertise in population-based cross-sectional and longitudinal studies. His areas of interest are caries research, population health and interventions to reduce disparities in oral and dental conditions. He is the co-founder of the International Caries Detection and Assessment System and is a member of the European Organization for Caries Research.
