Dear Temple journalism graduate,

I hope this finds you well. 2009 has been a great year for Temple's Journalism Department. We continue to be one of the most popular majors on campus, and we continue to set the standard for journalism education with our emphasis on multimedia journalism in an urban setting. The centerpiece of this curriculum is our Multimedia Urban Reporting Lab, the senior capstone for all journalism students, which publishes the newly named Philadelphia Neighborhoods.

I am writing to share a few highlights from this past year, including the recent achievements of our department's students, faculty and alumni.
