"Sustainable Art: How to continue making art during difficult economic times"

Mulgrew will discuss how she started her own dance company, Anne-Marie Mulgrew and Dancers Company, the strategies she employed to continue making art for the past 23 years, and her tips and resources for getting support (financial and otherwise) and becoming a successful professional performing artist.
Following her lecture, Mulgrew will be presented with the Temple University Alumni Fellows Award.
Earlier this month, Mulgrew presented "Salt" for the Boyer College of Music and Dance's Alumni Dance Concert on Oct. 2 and 3. Charles Tyson Jr. (above), MUS '00, performs "Whispers in my left ear/Salt over my left shoulder."
