Temple Student-Athletes Deliver "Season's Readings"
In the spirit of the season, 25 Temple student athletes visited Dunbar Elementary School on Dec. 1 to spend time with the Philadelphia school children and read from a selection of popular new books and old favorites.

Temple Names Florida's Addazio as Head Football Coach
Florida offensive coordinator Steve Addazio, who also has been an assistant coach at Syracuse, Notre Dame and Indiana, will lead Temple Football.

Early in the fall semester, members of the Temple women's lacrosse team went to Comcast headquarters in Center City to kick off a program, Comcast Connectors, that links students to Temple alumni who work for the cable-TV provider.

Jaiquawn Jarrett, Teammates Honored at Annual Football Banquet
Senior safety Jaiquawn Jarrett received the 2010 Owl Award as Temple's most valuable player at the Owl Club's annual football banquet earlier this month.

Lacrosse Head Coach Bonnie Rosen Featured in October Edition of Lacrosse Magazine
Lacrosse Magazine's Corey McLaughlin writes: "Bonnie Rosen's primary jobs as Temple women's lacrosse coach are to prepare and lead players during practices and games, and recruit the next incoming class. But when Temple hired her in 2007, Rosen often glanced at the surroundings in inner-city North Philadelphia and recognized the chance to make an impact beyond campus."

Amara Kamara: Following in His Grandfather's Footsteps
Eleven years after arriving in America from the West African nation of Guinea, Temple linebacker Amara Kamara is making a name for himself on and off of the football field. In addition to being a four-year starter, Kamara was also one of 11 FBS football players in the nation to be named to the prestigious AFCA Good Works Team this fall for his community service.

Roasting Shrier
Special assistant to the athletic director and longtime SID Al Shrier was roasted Oct. 15 at the Doubletree Hotel as a tribute to his years of service to Temple.
