Temple University Undergraduate Admissions

Dear graduate,

Share your Temple experiences with potential Temple students in the Los Angeles area -- apply to become an Alumni Admissions Council volunteer today!

Alumni Admissions Council volunteers will help the Office of Undergraduate Admissions recruit new students to visit, apply to and attend Temple University. Volunteers will participate in college fairs, visit selected high schools in their area and attend local admitted-student receptions and send-off parties for newly enrolled students. Volunteers may also write letters and make phone calls to prospective students; all are functions of the recruitment process!

The Admissions Office is looking for motivated individuals who are willing to share their positive Temple experiences with future Owls, parents and college counselors in the Los Angeles area. Volunteers will be required to attend a training session and stay in contact with the Alumni Admissions Council coordinator and the Admissions Office. Recruitment materials will be sent to volunteers prior to scheduled events and training updates will be available.

The first training session and opportunities for recruitment in the Los Angeles area will be held the last week of April 2010. Click here to apply to become an Alumni Admissions Council volunteer and to receive more details (applications accepted through Sunday, March 21).

Thank you for your interest in participating in this new endeavor for Temple! As an Owl myself (twice over!), I look forward to working together and sharing our Temple experiences with prospective students in Los Angeles.

Sincerely,
Rachel Gionta, SCT '05, EDU '08
Assistant Director of Admissions, Temple University
