Dear CIS graduate,

Temple University and the Computer Information Sciences Department in the College of Science and Technology are pleased to announce the start of the new master of science in information science and technology program in fall 2010. As a graduate of Temple's Computer and Information Sciences Department, this new program may be of special interest to you and your colleagues.

The master of science in information science and technology is a full- or part-time degree program that integrates technology, management and industry experience to enhance your knowledge and skills and set you apart from the crowd.

Program features include:

Advanced and emerging technologies;
Systems security and privacy;
Web services technologies;
Software development;
Process management; and
Database and information intelligence network management.

As we move ahead with the program, I ask for your assistance in spreading the word. I also welcome your recommendations for potential students and instructors for this new program.
