E=mc2 is a new program from Temple University’s College of Education that trains midcareer and early retiree mathematics and science professionals as middle-grade teachers. Educating Middle-Grades Teachers for Challenging Contexts (E=mc2) is a Transition to Teaching program with an accelerated, practical and flexible path to teaching. E=mc2 allows participants to maintain their current non-teaching job in the beginning of the program as they transition to teaching and receive a $5,000 tuition subsidy.
Applications for 2010-2011 are being accepted now, but the application deadline is approaching: Applications must be submitted by Monday, May 31.
