College of Education

Remember that math or science teacher who influenced your career decision?

Are you at the point in your career when you are looking for something significant to give back to the community?

Looking for a new challenge?

E=mc2 is a new program from Temple University’s College of Education that trains degreed career changers and early retirees to become science or mathematics teachers in middle-grade schools. Educating Middle-Grades Teachers for Challenging Contexts (E=mc2) is a Transition to Teaching program with an accelerated, practical and flexible path to teaching. E=mc2 allows participants to maintain their current non-teaching job in the beginning of the program as they transition to teaching and receive a $5,000 tuition subsidy.
