Engineering Students Win "Be Your Own Boss" Bowl
Next Engineering, a new company formed by four College of Engineering seniors prevailed to win the grand prize -- valued in excess of $60,000 -- in Temple's "2010 Be Your Own Boss Bowl."

Electrical Engineering Professor Profiled in The Temple News
Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering John Helferty is profiled in the paper's "Movers & Shakers" section for his efforts to create excitement for science and engineering in young students.

College of Engineering Faculty Honored
Three of the college's faculty members were honored at Temple's Faculty Awards Convocation last month. The ceremony honors faculty members who have made substantial achievements in teaching and research.

Professor's Creation Could Help the Environment (video)
Civil and Environmental Engineering Assistant Professor Naji Khoury has created a permeable cement-like material, Plastisoil, that offers a host of environmental advantages over traditional paving.

Engineering Graduate Profiled in Commencement Edition of the Temple Times
With drive and determination, electrical engineering graduate Daniel McCann went from being a high school dropout to a college graduate. After receiving his bachelor's degree yesterday at Commencement, Daniel is headed to Pittsburgh to work as an engineer for Bechtel Plant Machinery.
