The 2010 School of Medicine Administrators Scholarship Committee invites you to participate in an exciting new fundraising campaign. Many of us have already invested in the "bricks and mortar" that is the new Medical Education and Research Building. Now, going forward, the Faculty and Staff Campaign Committee, in collaboration with Dean Daly, has made it a strategic priority to invest in the people, namely Temple medical students and graduate students, who will carry on the legacy of Temple University School of Medicine (TUSM).

Toward that end, a new School of Medicine Administrators Scholarship is being initiated with the purpose of increasing available support for medical and graduate student scholarships. With your support, multiple scholarships will be awarded annually to deserving medical and graduate students who demonstrate educational achievement, outstanding leadership, contribution to the school and service to the community.

We are asking all TUSM administrators to consider supporting this initiative by either increasing your existing gift to TUSM or by setting up a new gift for next year via payroll deduction. A form has been developed to assist you in designating your contribution to the Administrators Scholarship Fund and is available online at www.temple.edu/medicine/alumni; please choose "2010 School of Medicine Administrators Scholarship Fund" from the right-hand side of the page or click here to download the form now (PDF). You can complete this form and send or fax it to Laura Wortman, director of development at TUSM. Her contact information is listed at the bottom of the form.

Investment in our medical and graduate students can only reinforce Temple University School of Medicine's position amongst the top-notch institutions of higher learning.
