Albert Benzwie, one of Philadelphia's most ardent supporters of new play development, co-founded the Chambers Theater in Israel and was the artistic producer and founder of the Theatre Center of Philadelphia. The Belly, a world premiere from emerging playwright G. Lloyd Morris, was sponsored in part by the Albert Benzwie Memorial Fund at Temple University's School of Communications and Theater.
