Support TUSM
When you choose to support Temple University School of Medicine, you are making a commitment to help ensure that future generations of physicians, basic scientists and researchers experience educational excellence. Help TUSM reach its participation goal of 28% (2,100 alumni donors) and raise $10M for facilities, students, faculty and research. Every gift counts!

Here are a few of TUSM's latest fundraising initiatives:

Support-A-Scholar: Term Scholarships
Goal: $250,000

Term scholarships are unique because 100 percent of the money donated goes directly to students with financial need. Your gift will make a substantial impact. Please join Temple as it strives to help students realize their dreams of becoming physicians and scientists.

Ophthalmology Department Renovation
Goal: $300,000 (Less than $50,000 still needed)

Wendy and Solomon Luo, MD, have issued a 1:1 matching gift challenge, effectively doubling all gifts to the department, up to $150,000. Gifts of $1,500, $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $15,000 or more will be commemorated with an engraved plaque in the lobby of the renovated facility. Gifts of greater amounts may be used to dedicate a particular piece of equipment, and individuals who wish to make either a one-time gift or a longer-term pledge totaling $25,000 or more can name one of the new rooms in the department. Make a contribution today at myowlspace.com (type "Ophthalmology" into the "Other" field).

Renovation is 80 percent complete, but support is still needed to reach the goal. The clinical space is almost entirely renovated and now the physician's work room and the conference/break room are under way. See before and after photos.
