You are invited to attend the 2011 music therapy conference of the Boyer College of Music and Dance's Arts and Quality of Life Research Center. The conference will focus on the diverse contributions of Temple University faculty and students to the theory, practice and research of music therapy.

When: Friday, Feb. 25, 2011; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Where: Temple University, Main Campus, Student Center

Topic: "The Music Therapy Tradition at Temple University"

Keynote speaker: Dr. Kenneth Bruscia, Temple University

Special guest speaker: Dr. Denise Grocke, University of Melbourne

Additional presentations by Temple University Music Therapy faculty, students and alumni.

The conference will be free, but registration will be required. Registration will be available online beginning in November at www.temple.edu/boyer/researchcenter.

The conference will be followed by a reception for Temple students and alumni to honor Dr. Kenneth Bruscia, who will retire in May 2011 after 37 years of service to Temple University.
