Dear Owls, The Temple Owls are Bowl Bound! The 2011 Gildan New Mexico Bowl will kick off the college football bowl season on Saturday, December 17 as the Temple Owls take on The University of Wyoming Cowboys. I am writing with a very special offer for you and a guest made possible through the generosity and Temple pride of our own Trustee Lewis Katz. Lewis has offered to charter a jet full of our most ardent Owl supporters from Philadelphia to Albuquerque to attend the game. We offer you, for $1,000 per seat, a round trip seat on the Charter between Philadelphia and Albuquerque, ticket to the bowl game, hotel accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque for two nights, and approximately $400 gift credit to the Athletics program. Approximate departure times from the respective cities are 2:00 p.m. on Friday, 12/16, from Philadelphia International Airport, and 10:00 a.m., Sunday, 12/18, from Albuquerque. Additionally, there are receptions and events being planned for those in attendance. Exact details are still developing; we will continue to be in contact with you. In order to ensure a full flight, which is 120 seats, we have developed a large invitation list.
