Alan C. Braddock, assistant professor of art history at Temple's Tyler School of Art, will lecture on the importance of medicine as represented in art.
The dedication of "The Unseen World" and a reception will follow the lecture.
Designed by Philadelphia artist Kate Kaman, "The Unseen World" is a dynamic larger-than-life sculptural depiction of the most plentiful and ancient microscopic life forms -- bacteria.
