From the Alumni President...

Less than two weeks ago, the ranks of CLA Alumni Association members grew by more than 850. This year's graduating class was a record-breaker.

The night before graduation, I had the privilege of representing the CLA Alumni Association at the college's baccalaureate ceremony. Our alumni association has been hosting the baccalaureate awards ceremony for more than 30 years. This year, we awarded more than $120,000 to 111 of the college's brightest students. It was a proud night for everyone from Dean Soufas to the students' friends and family.

Summer may be just around the corner, but we're not taking any time off. Be sure to save the date for our annual night at Citizens Bank Park on June 24, when the Phillies will take on the Oakland Athletics.

Happy summer and Go Owls!

Jerry Vigna, CLA '73
