College of Science and Technology

Dear Graduate of the College of Science and Technology,

Do you want to make an impact on a CST student’s professional development? Are you passionate about helping to shape the next generation of scientists and innovators? Share your success—Owl to Owl—and be a mentor!

The College of Science and Technology is looking for alumni from every major to participate in the new CST alumni/student mentor program. Whether you are at the height of your career or retired, and looking for ways to stay connected, your experience and knowledge will help a student achieve his or her dreams.

CST students are looking for alumni that can help guide their professional lives. One student said it best:

"As a first generation student in the US, my family can only motivate me, but not guide me...Having a mentor will give me the needed guidance, so I can accomplish my dream of becoming a doctor."

The student response has been overwhelming, and more than 60 students are waiting to be matched. Online registration is fast and easy.

The program involves a minimum of four meetings over two semesters. Teams are also free to meet and communicate as often as they like. The first meeting is scheduled on campus for September 27 at 6:00PM. If you can't make that date, we can make arrangements for mentors and students to meet at another time.

Explore how the program works and sign up today.
