Holiday Schedule: The university will be closed starting at the end of business on Friday, December 21, 2012 through Tuesday, January 1, 2013. The university will reopen on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Read more.
Gift Accounting and Administration: Special thanks to the Gift Accounting and Administration staff for their dedication during the holiday period. As always, GAA will be working over the winter break in order to process gifts as well as update record changes. Stewardship: Toward the end of this month, a Temple Made calendar will be mailed to the following groups of donors: Chairman's Circle, Acres of Diamonds Circle, Endowed Fund Contacts, Wachman Society, Conwell FY12 and FY13 and Faculty and Staff donors. Direct Marketing: Major fundraising appeals in Fall 2012 have strongly outpaced 2011 benchmarks. Several direct mail and email communications will go out throughout December and early 2013, and a new temple.edu website will roll out in mid-December. Read more.
2012-2013 Temple Men’s Basketball Entertaining Plan: Institutional Advancement will entertain donors, prospects, and alumni at many men’s basketball games this season. Select donors and prospects are being invited to the Liacouras Center suites for home games, beginning Wednesday, Dec. 5. All alumni and friends are invited to free pre-game receptions hosted by Alumni Relations before select games. In addition, Athletics plans bus trips and charter flights to major away games. Help School Children—Donate Books: Join the Temple University Alumni Association, Temple University Black Alumni Alliance and the College of Education for the Seventh Annual Alumni Book Drive to benefit elementary schools surrounding Temple's Main Campus, now through January 31, 2013. Read more.
