School of Pharmacy, Temple University

Friends,

It is with great sadness that I write to inform you of the passing of Fred B. Gable, Temple University School of Pharmacy's longtime Assistant Dean of Admissions. Fred was more than a teacher and administrator at TUSP, he was a dear friend, colleague, and classmate to many of us.

Fred B. Gable, '51Before his passing on May 30th, the School of Pharmacy mailed a letter to your home asking for donations to the Fred B. Gable, '51 Endowed Cultural Fund, a fund to properly display, conserve and restore TUSP's growing art collection, which was started by Fred in 1968. He was extremely proud of this collection, which now boasts 140 works, and excited about the prospect of endowing a fund which would help to maintain this wonderful collection forever. Obviously, gifts from Pharmacy alumni to honor Fred in this way take on new meaning, in light of his passing.

Fred's family has asked that, in lieu of memorial contributions, those wishing to honor him make a donation to Fred B. Gable Endowed Cultural Fund and truly honor Fred's memory and legacy. You may make your gift online or by mailing a check to Temple University, attn: Fred B. Gable Endowed Cultural Fund, P.O. Box 827651, Philadelphia, PA 19182-7651.

Likewise, if you would like to share your memories of Fred with his family, please send them to Chris Van Vessem at christopher.vanvessem@temple.edu.
Make Your Gift

Sincerely,

Joel D. Shpigel, PHR '76
