Commencement is a defining moment for Temple graduates—the culmination of years of hard work, and recognition of all the challenges, victories, setback and achievements it took to get here. Last week, as I stood beside my friends and classmates in the Liacouras Center excited for what's ahead, I realized I didn't take this journey alone.

Looking behind me, I saw the faculty and staff who have guided me and encouraged my achievements over the past four years. It's you—the backbone of this university—that really make the difference in the lives of students. Our success is your success.
