Tyler School of Art

Dear Architecture Alumni,

It was wonderful to catch up with so many of you recently. The month of April 2012 marked a very special time in the history of our Architecture Program—Temple University has given us our new building. Alumni from many years gathered to inaugurate our new home, reconnect and engage with current students through lectures, projects and ideas. For a review of this first-ever Architecture Alumni week, and information about Temple's new achievements in Architecture, please check out our website.

Architecture Alumni week brought so many familiar faces, and we hope to see even more of you at the AIA National Convention this Thursday, May 17, in Washington, D.C. Kate Wingert-Playdon and I will be attending the Pennsylvania Alumni & Fellows Reception from 6:30-8:00 PM. We will honor new member achievements and greet Temple alumni—please stop by!

If we miss you both on campus and at the AIA National Convention, we still want to hear from you. Our Interim Dean and Vice Provost of the Arts Robert T. Stroker and Temple University have supported our school in countless ways. We continue to report good news about campus design initiatives, showcase alumni work that represents the richness of our program and expand alumni volunteer opportunities. It is a wonderful time to be involved!

As you see our new home, absorb the work of your fellow alumni and engage in Temple Architecture activities, please also support this progress by visiting www.myowlspace.com/makeagift and give as generously as you can.

Our students and alumni have distinguished themselves in the global community through their talent, diligence and extraordinary achievements. Work of this caliber deserves our support.

Gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Brigitte Knowles
Senior Associate Dean, Tyler School of Art
