Dear Alumni,

This is a very special year for the Department of Risk, Insurance, and Healthcare Management! 

We are celebrating the 90th anniversary
of insurance education at Temple
and the 25th anniversary of the highly
popular Annual Awards for Excellence Luncheon.

To celebrate these milestones (and some others), we are planning the first-ever reunion for our alumni as well as other Fox alumni working in these fields. The reunion will be in April 2013 in conjunction with the Luncheon which will become a dinner and Gala Event at a Center City hotel. We have some surprises in store, too, including awards and an insurance industry leader as our speaker.

In conjunction with the reunion, and in recognition of opportunities we face to maintain a preeminent position in risk, insurance, and actuarial science education, we will ask you to support the establishment the Department Chair’s Endowed Fund for Preeminence. You will hear more about this later but I ask that when you are asked to remember Temple with your philanthropy, you will choose to support our efforts to strengthen your department and continue to enhance the value of your degree.

We will be sending out more information about the Reunion and Gala soon, so keep your eyes open.

It will be a memorable evening, and I hope you will make plans to join us!
