This year's Excellence Award is being presented to Anderson Cooper, anchor of CNN's Anderson Cooper 360° and host and executive producer of Anderson Live.

Six alumni will be inducted into the School of Media and Communication Hall of Fame.

The Lew Klein Alumni in the Media Awards supports scholarships for School of Media and Communication students.

Students benefiting from the scholarships pursue internships, study abroad and complete independent projects – educational opportunities that would not be possible without these awards. Thanks to the generosity of our event sponsors and friends, more than $300,000 has been awarded to enrich students' educational pursuits since the scholarships began.
