Flm and video from our collections will be starring in a screening at PhilaMOCA as the Libraries’ Special Collections Research Center presents selections from the Urban Archives collection! Footage spans the late 1940s through early 1980s and includes a mix of unedited news footage and produced public affairs documentaries that offer glimpses of both exceptional and everyday moments in the Philadelphia region’s history.

Dr. Andrew Isenberg, professor of American History at Temple University, will host a discussion on Native American history and culture with scholars William Carter, assistant professor of history at the College of New Jersey; Doug Kiel, a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of History and a visiting fellow at the Center for Native American Studies at the University of Pennsylvania; and Louis Warren, currently a visiting research scholar at Princeton.
