Temple Fund

Once you’re on The Temple News staff, you’re always a Temple News staffer—and we were delighted to see the newspaper’s expanded staff celebrating at The Temple News reunion this past weekend. If you attended, we hope you rekindled old friendships, caught up with ongoing friends and had a great time.

As alumni, we can help to ensure that The Temple News experience continues for future generations of Temple students. By donating to The Temple News program fund, you can contribute to the staff’s everyday newsroom supplies as well as increase access to cover stories outside of Philadelphia such as NCAA games and state funding decisions in Harrisburg.

We also have a special opportunity to support the Jacqueline Steck Fund for journalism students who serve on The Temple News staff. Jackie Steck meant so much to so many of us—not just because of what she taught or the way she taught it, but because as a person, she was a role model. Please help us get this fund to the $25,000 threshold—we are only about $6,000 away since our last campaign.

Donating to these funds is an investment in the work of current students and a great way to show our Temple pride. Thank you again for your support of The Temple News reunion and for considering these funding opportunities in your annual Temple donation.

Sincerely,
