By now, you may have heard the sad news regarding the passing of Temple University Trustee Lewis Katz, CST ’63. Lewis was an extraordinary trustee, friend and benefactor whose dedication to Temple was unwavering.

We are honored to join with the Katz family in inviting you to a memorial service in celebration of his life. The service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, in the Temple Performing Arts Center at 1837 N. Broad St. All are welcome.

Lewis Katz, CST '63, who received an honorary doctor of humane letters degree at this year's Commencement ceremony, regaled the graduates and their families with stories of his time at Temple, his path to success in business and words of wisdom on what really matters in life.
Lewis Katz, CST '63, a tireless Temple advocate and a long-time trustee, was incredibly generous in giving his time, support and leadership to the university.
Temple's Board of Trustees will name the School of Medicine for Trustee Lewis Katz, CST '63, in recognition of his commitment and his lifetime of efforts on behalf of the university.
