You still have the chance to participate in an upcoming focus group! This is the perfect opportunity for you to provide feedback that will fuel future decisions for the School of Media and Communication, and also to visit campus and see improvements within the Temple community.

We are still looking for particpants on the following date:

Thursday, April 10 at 8 am

The focus group will be held on Main Campus (exact location TBD). Food and refreshments will be provided, and you’ll have the chance to win raffle prizes ranging from an assortment of gift cards to a basket filled with Temple gear. Take advantage of this opportunity to let your voice be heard and help improve the School of Media and Communication.

Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising Alumni: You are Invited to Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Department of Advertising

Let’s toast the past, the present and a bright future.

Temple’s Department of Advertising has come a long way from its start in 2004. As a member of the alumni, you are a big part of this success.

We would like to invite you to a celebration not only of the department and its first ten years, but also of you and your classmates. It will be a wonderful kickoff to many Alumni Weekend events.

The Department of Advertising 10th Anniversary Celebration

The night will include hors d’oeuvres, a buffet dinner, music and a panel discussion: “The Advertising Industry—A Look 10 Years Back, Today and 10 Years Ahead.”

Join fellow alumni and students for this unique, virtual-networking opportunity to discuss and share career-related advice will be discussed and shared.

What is Virtual Networking?
No matter where you are, virtual networking enables you to connect with fellow Owls with convenience and ease via an online speed-networking forum. During the event, you will be paired with multiple participants for several rounds of 10-minute, text-based chats that will allow you to seek or receive advice and will help you build a personal and professional network of Owls from around the region, around the country and around the world who share similar professional interests.
