The Fox School’s MS in IT Auditing and Cyber-Security (ITACS) at Temple University will enable you to enter one of the hottest and most exciting professions. TechRepublic.com recently ranked the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification (toward which ITACS leads) as the fourth most valuable IT certification in the U.S. with CISA holders averaging an annual salary of $111,000.

ITACS program features:

  • 30-39 credits that can be taken full or part-time.
  • ISACA aligned, meaning that our program counts as one year of experience toward the CISA certification.
  • STEM classified program opens doors for students who wish to apply for scholarships and entitles international students to work in the US for up to 29 months without sponsorship.

We are very pleased with our students’ achievements:

  • 100% job placement for the recent graduating class, working for companies such as Walmart, NBCUniversal, Vanguard, JPMorgan and PWC.
  • 80% pass rate on their first attempt at the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) examination.

Who should consider the MS program?
If you’re an accounting, finance, IT or risk major who enjoys working with information systems and would like to try something different, you should consider this program.

Two Tracks. One valuable degree.
Starting this fall, we have two tracks for this program; one is focused on IT auditing and the other is cyber security. Students working toward the IT auditing track will sit for the CISA exam. Students interested in the cyber security track will sit for the System Security Certified Professional (SSCP) exam.
