You Energize Temple.
Your generosity as a donor fuels Temple students and faculty every day. This season, I give thanks for your commitment to our university and to the amazing, powerful community you’ve helped create.
I hope this coffee recipe brings you the same energy and warmth you’ve given to Temple and wish you a very happy holiday season.

Here’s a coffee recipe to warm you all season long.
Serves 8–10
4 cinnamon sticks • 2 teaspoons whole cloves • 8 cups brewed coffee • 1/4 cup sugar • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup • 1 orange, sliced
Whipped cream or additional orange slices (optional)
Place cinnamon sticks and cloves in the middle of a square of cheesecloth and tie with string. To a slow cooker or heavy saucepan, add coffee, sugar, chocolate syrup, spice and clove sachet, and orange slices. Cook on low heat for 1 to 3 hours. Serve with whipped cream or orange slices.
Not a coffee drinker? Mix the spices and orange with 2 cups of water and simmer to create a comforting seasonal aroma.
