Please join us when Mrs. Abbott will accept the award on October 25, 2014, at the 7:30 p.m. performance of Brigadoon.
Tickets are available online at or through the Temple Theaters Box Office at 215-204-1122. Center for the Arts Alumni receive complimentary tickets to the October 25 performance with code ALUM100.
Lerner & Loewe's Brigadoon is the story of American tourists Jeff and Tommy, who stumble upon a mythical Scottish village, which awakens only once every 100 years. But when Tommy falls for a village girl, he is forced to choose returning to the world that he knows or giving up everything for a chance at life and love in the mysterious Brigadoon. This quintessential landmark of American Musical Theater is an enchanting tale of infinite love.
Peter Reynolds, director of last season's acclaimed Oklahoma!, leads an all-star production team that includes choreographer Maggie Anderson (Oklahoma! & Hair), musical director Amanda Morton, and scenic designer Fred M. Duer (Hair). With a cast of thirty-eight and a full orchestra from the Boyer College of Music & Dance, Temple Theaters' Brigadoon is an impressive production of the Scottish fantasy. The production, which is presented in collaboration with the George and Joy Abbott Center for Musical Theater, will run Tuesday, October 15 through Sunday, October 26, 2015.
Hope to see you there,
Dr. Robert Stroker
