Temple University

Dear Physician Colleagues,

As a physician of Temple’s healthcare enterprise and/or alumnus of the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, you are aware of the many transformative measures we have taken over the past four years to establish Temple Health as one of the nation’s top academic health centers – where advanced clinical care, cutting-edge translational research, and innovative medical education is the new norm.

To support these efforts, we wish to share opportunities with you that will help ensure the inclusion and improvement in the rankings of both Temple University Hospital and Fox Chase Cancer Center in U.S. News & World Report’s annual “Best Hospitals” issue. To that end, you may recall that U.S. News has partnered with Doximity.com – an online professional network for physicians. All survey-eligible registered members of Doximity may participate in the U.S. News survey process starting in January … but to do so, you must register and validate your online Doximity profile on or before December 11, 2015.

I encourage your participation in this survey because recognition of Temple and Fox Chase hospitals on such consumer-oriented lists enriches our reputation among potential patients as well as prospective faculty recruits and medical students.

So, before December 11th, if you’re not already a member of Doximity, please register so you can participate in the latest U.S. News survey process … and please consider Temple and Fox Chase providers when asked to list the five hospitals where you would refer complex and challenging patients.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Larry R. Kaiser, MD, FACS signature
