TemPALS Program

Through the TemPALS program, Temple University alumni serve as “pals” to international students who are new to Temple and the U.S. As a TemPAL, you spend time with your matched student, in person and electronically, over a semester or one-year academic period, September through May.

You are encouraged to talk and meet with the student as often as your mutual schedules allow, helping to acclimate the student to life in the U.S. The Temple University Alumni Relations office will help your relationship along with sponsored meet and greets and on- and off-campus activities, including Temple athletic events, concerts and more! Registration is now open for this year’s program. New participants in the TemPALS program must attend one of two short, informative orientation sessions on Tuesday, August 25 (2 pm or 6 pm). If you have previously served as a TemPAL, you do not need to attend an orientation.
