Dear ##First Name##,

Hungry? How does a grilled cheese with Gouda, carrots or apples and a secret, homemade hummus recipe sound? And for dessert, what about a chia seed pudding with dried cranberries, apples and maple syrup?
Rad Dish Co-Op Cafe
Temple’s Rad Dish Co-op Café.
These delicious, locally sourced and completely vegetarian (with a gluten-free substitute) food options are available at Temple’s Rad Dish Co-op Café.

The only student-run food co-op in Philadelphia, Rad Dish opened its doors in 2014, with help from donors who subsidized this initiative through Temple’s crowdfunding campaign, OwlCrowd.

As the sourcing chairperson of the co-op, I couldn’t be prouder of Rad Dish and how far we’ve come. As an entrepreneur major, I’ve gained real-life experiences through the co-op. I’ve also met amazing people and learned a lot of transferable business skills in the process.

It’s not just me who has learned these skills but also my classmates and fellow members of the co-op, who come from many different areas within Temple University. To some, Rad Dish might just be a café for delicious, locally grown food, but for me and my fellow members, it’s an amazing, real-world learning experience, full of opportunity.

That’s why I’m turning to you. Through your generous support, we can make Rad Dish a grocer café, providing bulk, local produce to Temple students and the surrounding community. More important, we could increase the size of our staff and co-op. We want to have more people involved with our organization, so adding to the co-op would mean more working members with voting rights, to help make business decisions.

Please strengthen Rad Dish today by making a gift to Temple University.
