Dear ##First Name##,

When you attended Temple, did you think that one day there would be a vegetable and flower garden on campus? Well now, at the corner of Carlisle and Diamond, there’s a robust urban-farming landscape that focuses on sustainable, healthy food options.

Thanks to support from generous donors through Temple’s crowdfunding campaign, OwlCrowd, the Temple Community Garden (TCG) was able to expand its crops.

Temple Community Garden (TCG).

TCG is working hard to educate others on the importance of horticulture so that those who are affected by poverty or the lack of fresh food options can feel empowered to make smarter, healthier choices. Educating Temple students and the surrounding community on the origin of their food is important to us, and we hope that our efforts will result in a shift of community consciousness.

With your continued support, we can increase our membership size and donate our produce to local soup kitchens and food pantries so that those who are less fortunate have access to healthy, sustainable food.

TCG is a dedicated student body, committed to enhancing our local environment and teaching others the joys of horticulture. Please join me and the other members of TCG by making a gift today to support TCG and sustainable food options for all.

Together we can bring healthy, fresh, viable options to those who truly need them.
