Because of alumni support, we are

undergoing the first extensive curriculum update since 2005 to provide students with opportunities for hands-on, real-world experiences. Students will now participate in a simulated night on call during their capstone and complete internal medicine and surgery rotations through Temple University Hospital. establishing a unique physician assistant program to fill a great need in the region. This year, approximately 50 students will be accepted into the program and work side by side with our MD students. reaching new heights in research, recently making international headlines with discoveries and innovations. In 2015, our researchers completely eradicated HIV from human cells, uncovered evidence linking HPV to a common form of childhood epilepsy, developed gene therapies for heart failure, and invented a noninvasive maternal blood test that will help predict, guide and monitor abnormal fetal neurodevelopment.
