Rankings rise

Six! That’s the number of spots Temple soared in this year’s U.S. News and World Report’s Best Colleges, to our highest ranking ever. And in the past five years, we’ve surged 17 places. Temple’s momentum is fueled in part by our ascending reputation—our ranking among high school counselors has vaulted 39 spots since 2012. Luckily, Owls aren’t afraid of heights.

The university is breaking records for diversity, the number of freshmen in Temple Honors and its highest average high school GPA.
