Dear Colleagues: Last week, hundreds of you joined me in Mitten Hall to hear the State of the University address. The opportunity to share my views on our achievements, and where we go from here, was a memorable experience. I would appreciate you taking a moment to help spread the word. In the few days since we met in Mitten Hall, Temple’s momentum has gotten even stronger. Our Board of Trustees approved moving forward on construction of our stunning new library. We named our School of Medicine in honor of our most generous donor, Lewis Katz. And our football team improved to 5-0 for the first time since 1974. Every day, each of us comes into contact with countless alumni, donors, students and community members. Let’s make sure they all know that the state of Temple University is excellent. By now, you’ve probably seen this amazing video—if not during my address, then on social media. It’s already our most highly viewed video ever on Facebook.
