Thank you for registering for Parents & Family Weekend 2015! Upon your arrival, please visit our Welcome Tent at 13th Street and Polett Walk to pick up a PFW schedule with campus map, general information, and pre-registration tickets for the President’s Reception, Philadelphia Bus Tour, Temple Campus Tour, Family Movie Showings - Inside Out, and the Family Brunch. Tickets are required for these events and any tickets not picked up will be distributed to our waitlist. The Welcome Tent will be staffed on Friday, October 16 from 5-8 p.m., and on Saturday, October 17 from 8-11 a.m. Due to the change in the start time of the Temple vs. UCF football game to 7:30 p.m., there have been some slight changes to the schedule on Saturday. Please be sure to view these changes online or download the TU Mobile App for the most current information, available in the iTunes App Store and on Google Play.

Here are a few key programming updates. The President’s Reception with President Neil D. Theobald will take place Friday, Oct. 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the Bell Tower (13th Street and Polett Walk). This event has reached capacity; walk-ins will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis if space is available. This event is sponsored by the Office of Alumni Relations. Temple University Owls Tailgate Village will be open Saturday, Oct. 17, at Lincoln Financial Field, Lot K. The party officially begins at 4:30 p.m. Check out the most current transportation options to Lincoln Financial Field, including student buses. Immediately following the tailgate party, the Temple vs. UCF football game will start at 7:30 p.m. Discounted game tickets will be available until Friday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m. You also may buy tickets online. Enter the special offer code PARENTS for $20 sideline tickets and $15 end zone tickets. Family Brunch: Welcome to Our Nest will be held Sunday, Oct. 18, in Mitten Hall from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. This event has reached capacity; walk-ins will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis if space is available. NFL Clear Bag Policy If you are heading to Lincoln Financial Field for the Temple vs. UCF football game, please take a few moments to review the NFL’s Clear Bag Policy. Under the policy, you will be able to carry bags of the following styles and sizes into the stadium: Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar) Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand but not larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″, with or without a handle or strap, along with one of the clear bag options Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, purses larger than the dimensions above, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, seat cushions, computer bags and camera bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size.
