Registration Now Open: Business Card Exchange

Thursday, Nov. 12 | 6–8 p.m. Top of the Tower 1717 Arch St., Philadelphia $25 per person In its 18th year, the Temple University Young Alumni Annual Business Card Exchange is the group’s signature program.

It has it all: food and drink in a city location, the opportunity to network with your fellow Owls and the chance to celebrate an excellent alumnus! This year we’ll be at Top of the Tower right in Center City. For $25, you’ll enjoy a one-hour open bar, unlimited appetizers and the opportunity to exchange business cards/professional information with fellow young alumni. If that isn’t enough, we will present the Diamond Excellence Award to an outstanding young professional. Sign up now; this event will sell out quickly! Let’s Talk about Prep, Baby!

Thursday, October 15, 2015 6 - 8 p.m. 1810 Liacouras Walk Conference Center A casual interactive panel discussion-based event about PrEp/Truvada, an pre-exposure prophylaxis used to prevent the spread of HIV. The panel will include a multidisciplinary team of case workers, activists, providers and undergrad students discussing PrEp, debunk myths about PrEp, discuss barriers involving obtaining PrEp and the future of PrEp.

*Fee includes a reception with hors-d'oeuvres and an open bar, including wine and beer selections, preceding the discussion. A coffee and dessert reception will follow the discussion. The Philadelphia Chapter of the Temple University Alumni Association invites you to mark Halloween with fellow Owls at this Philadelphia institution. The evening will include a cocktail reception with hors-d'oeuvres, an exclusive introduction into the Woodlands Cemetery, including current research Temple University graduate student Grace A. DiAgostino, CLA ‘14, ’16 is conducting at the facility, and optional tours of the grounds by Joana Arruda, CLA ’16. The event wouldn’t be complete without a Halloween costume contest so please come dressed to impress!
