Games Without Frontiers Artist/Makers Residency: Angela Washko
New media artist Angela Washko, a Tyler School of Art and Temple University Honors alumna, returns November 5 and 6 for a two-day engagement as part  of Temple University Libraries Beyond the Page public programming series. Washko is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at Carnegie Mellon University. Her  work has been featured in Time Magazine, VICE, Hyperallergic, and the New York Times, and she is also a recent recipient of The Franklin Furnace Performance Fund Grant and a Rhizome Internet Art Microgrant. Washko’s projects have been presented nationally and internationally.  Join us November 5 and 6 at 5:30 PM in the Paley Library  Lecture Hall for a talk and performance.

Tightrope Routines is a storytelling performance based on a year of exchanges between feminist artist Angela Washko and a pick-up artist, author, blogger and notorious manosphere leader deemed “the web’s most infamous misogynist”.
