The Department of Chemistry will host a special half-day symposium honoring the life and career of Dr. Grant R. Krow, long-time Temple chemistry professor who died last year. The event features speakers from Temple, Yale, Penn State and Wisconsin-Madison. Speaker details are here.

Following the symposium, there will be a reception in SERC and a special dinner at La Viola Restaurant in Center City, Philadelphia. Should you wish to attend the dinner, there is a nominal fee of $40 per person.
Professor Grant Krow taught organic chemistry at Temple for 42 years, mentoring hundreds of students, authoring more than 110 scientific papers and winning numerous awards. He died in 2015 at age 73.
