White Coat Students
Dear Dr. ##Last Name##,

As a member of the Class of 2019, I was so thrilled to receive a new stethoscope during my White Coat Ceremony last August. I still remember the joy I felt when I received this beautiful instrument branded with a cherry Temple “T”. What made it even more special was the card on the front of the box. It identified the donor who made this gift possible and allowed me to put a name to the gratitude I was feeling.
Stethoscope
I suddenly felt that not only was I beginning my journey into medicine, but I was also becoming a part of something: a community of Temple-trained physicians. In a way that was overwhelming, I suddenly felt connected to that community and its legacy.
You now have a chance to make an impact on first-year medical students by making a gift toward the White Coat Fund at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine. A contribution to this fund will not only help sponsor a stethoscope for an incoming first-year student but will also support activities, interest groups and special projects for the class.

I hope you will consider making a gift to the White Coat Fund and help make a student feel the same way I did. By doing so, you will show students that they are supported not only by their friends, family and faculty, but also by the entire Temple medical community.

You can make a gift now by clicking here.

Sincerely,
