Dear ##First Name##,
Share your Temple experiences with potential Temple students in the Chicago area -- apply to become
an Alumni Admissions Advisory Council volunteer today!
Alumni Admissions Advisory Council volunteers will help the Office of Undergraduate Admissions recruit
new students to visit, apply to and attend Temple University. Volunteers will participate in college fairs,
visit selected high schools in their area and attend local events with prospective and admitted students
and their families. Volunteers may also write letters and make phone calls to prospective students; all
are functions of the recruitment process!
The Admissions Office is looking for motivated individuals who are willing to share their positive Temple
experiences with future Owls, parents and college counselors in the Chicago area. Volunteers will be
required to attend a training session and stay in contact with the Alumni Admissions Advisory Council
coordinator and the Admissions Office. Recruitment materials will be sent to volunteers prior to
scheduled events and training updates will be available.
The next training session in the Chicago area will be held in March. Click here to apply to become an
Alumni Admissions Advisory Council volunteer and to receive more details about the program and the
upcoming training session.
Thank you for your interest in participating in this new endeavor for Temple! As an Owl myself (twice
over!), I look forward to working together and sharing our Temple experiences with prospective
students in Chicago.
Sincerely,
Rachel Gionta, SCT '05, EDU '08
Associate Director of Admissions, Temple University
