Ever hear an octobass play? You can see (but not hear) one at Phoenix’s Museum of Musical Instruments (MIM), one of only three museums worldwide to feature a playable octobass. Why can’t you hear it? Because the sound produced by the nearly 12 ft. tall octobass is not perceptible to the human ear!
Join Phoenix area Temple Alumni to learn about the octobass and the more than 6,500 instruments on display at MIM during this exclusive docent tour.
$20 registration includes museum admission and docent tour.
