Temple University
School of Media and Communication
Busy day on Temple's main campus
Dear ##First Name##,

At Temple’s School of Media and Communication (SMC), we influence the future of media and communication globally through a powerful integration of research and practice in a dynamic urban environment. Our graduates are equipped to pursue a range of professions, from the academic to new forms of digital storytelling, public relations, copywriting, advertising, and broadcast production. It’s the people, programs and places that pushed them further, inspiring their achievement and furthering their educational experiences.

We want our students to be ethical, analytical and creative leaders in a multimedia and multicultural society. We’re building on the legacy you left us and launching exciting programs and initiatives based on your ideas and support. With our key location in the nation’s fourth-largest media market, SMC serves more than 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students each year. We hope you will make your gift to SMC and help us forge the future for the next generation of students, such as rising senior journalism major, Jordyn Kreshover.

“Traveling to Barcelona with the SMC Study Away Program was one of the best decisions of my life,” Kreshover said. “In the classroom we are taught how to break cultural barriers and communicate in a global environment. Utilizing these skills in a foreign setting was incredibly rewarding.”

Kreshover has also leveraged her SMC experiences to secure an internship this summer in New York City. “I am proud to be representing Temple at Ogilvy Public Relations. Temple's curriculum and extracurricular activities allowed me to gain experience and ultimately receive this position.”

I encourage you to make your gift to SMC today. When you support SMC’s people, programs and places, you are providing valuable experiences for students like Jordyn and contributing to their future success!

Sincerely,

Karen Gallagher
