Dear Alumni Leaders:

As a Temple Owl, you know firsthand the power of a Temple education. The university’s Take Charge brand campaign has done an outstanding job showing how the Temple experience is different from those of other institutions, and the subsequent rise in Temple’s profile suggests that people are taking notice. That momentum makes it the right time to evolve the campaign and expand our efforts to further promote our university.

This past winter, many of you had the opportunity to preview and provide feedback on the newest phase of Temple’s marketing campaign by participating in presentations hosted by Karen Clarke, vice president of strategic marketing and communications.

As this campaign begins its official launch in the Philadelphia region, we wanted to make sure you are among the first to know. In the coming weeks, new advertisements—which will soon appear on billboards, radio, TV and the web—feature a diverse group of Owls behind some of the world’s top innovations, ventures and solutions.

The campaign captures the spirit that thrives at Temple. A series of video vignettes focuses on how alumni ignited their passions while attending the university and how they’ve carried that passion forward in their careers. These vignettes, along with a variety of numbers and statistics, underscore the university’s worldwide impact.
