Blackstone LaunchPad Global Competition
Laundromate
Tyler School of Art sophomores Tianhao Guo, Micaela Klick, Hannah Strayline and Julia Swieson have been awarded the first place prize for Blackstone LaunchPad’s Solve a Campus Challenge. This competition challenged students to create a one minute pitch video that presents a solution to a problem found on campus. The competition received 144 entries from 17 institutions in the U.S. and Ireland. Their winning entry was Laundromate, an on-demand laundry service that hires people on and around campus to do laundry for other students. Check out the award-winning video.
