JOIN US as we enjoy the sweet sounds of Havana!

You’re invited to join your fellow Boyer College alumni, faculty, and friends at World Café Live as Temple Made band Conjunto Philadelphia opens its Havana Nights series. Compliments of the Boyer College of Music and Dance Alumni Association and Temple University Annual Giving.

Led by Boyer College alumnus Jeff Torchon ’11, ’15, Conjunto Philadelphia performs the music of pre-revolutionary Cuba. The group's main aspiration is to maintain the authenticity of the music while performing it in a way that pays homage to Cuba's deep and treasured musical history. You’ll hear such genres as Son, Cha-cha-chá, Bolero, and Danzón.

Band members include Marcell Bellinger ’10, Frank Gattis ’93, Greg Kettinger ’90 + Boyer faculty, and Joe Plowman ’13.
