Honors Appalachia Alumni Trip
Strap on your boots, throw on your gloves and don your favorite t-shirt. You’re about to get back to work. For ten years, Temple Honors has traveled to Appalachia to build community, homes and knowledge, and we want to celebrate with those students who’ve made it possible. We’re proud to announce the first alumni edition of Temple Honors Appalachia.

We’ll set out for 4-day excursions to West Virginia over one of the three weekends, July 13–16, 20–23 or 27–30. We hope you can join us for one of them. You will still be expected to raise funds to participate, but we expect them to be $300-325. We are still working out details on some of the finances. If you’re interested, please let us know by filling out this form and we’ll add you to the mailing list.

Ruthless Episode 4: Philly, Cheesesteaks and Non-Cheesesteak Philly
In episode 4, Honors professor Andrew Ervin joins us to discuss all things Philly. We do our best to explain the city. We talk about eating, recommend cheesesteaks, and Ruth explains PWNAGE, recommends some stuff and tries to dupe us all. Available on iTunes and SoundCloud.

Loungin’ w/ Alumni: Robert Berry

Just back from Cuba (and, not long ago, Jordan) and soon heading for Oxford, Temple Honors grad Robert Berry was on campus a few weeks ago to talk with students about careers in the international and diplomatic realms or with the State Department. Are you doing something that current students might want to know about? We’d love to host you for our Loungin’ w/ Alumni series! Email us at honors@temple.edu and let us know.

Looking Forward: Honors Alumni Mentoring Program
We know that after graduation, you all go on to do cool stuff. We want to share your stories with our current students and let them know that they, too, are great. Please fill out this form if you’re interested in participating in our Honors Alumni Mentoring Program. This program will officially launch next fall for the 2017–2018 academic year. We might put you in contact with someone informally before that if your interests line up. We’ll keep you posted as things develop.
