Celebrate Italian food traditions March 20–24

The breadth and depth of Italian food is impossible to size up in just one event, but Education Abroad will try with a weeklong series in Philadelphia marking the 50th anniversary of Temple University Rome!

• Monday, March 20. Fundraiser for the Temple Rome Scholarship Fund at Melegrano, Rittenhouse Square. Guests will dine on authentic Roman specialties and participate in a cooking demonstration.
• Tuesday, March 21. Slow Food Story documentary screening co-sponsored with Rad Dish, Temple Community Garden and Slow Food Philly.
• Wednesday, March 22. Join us from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. for a Food Truck Festa, including Temple-based trucks and a diverse lineup of locally based and alumni-owned food trucks coming to Temple Main Campus.
• Thursday, March 23. Luncheon and conversation with Temple Associate Professor Karen Hersch, author of The Roman Wedding: Ritual and Meaning in Antiquity.
• Friday, March 24. Celebrate 50 Foods of Lazio, 50 Years in Rome, a happy-hour networking and tasting event hosted by the Fox School of Business and P.I. Philly.
